Hawks Come Out on Top of Gulls 4-3

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Hawks continued their winning streak on Friday topping Endicott College by a 4-3 final.
 
 
UP NEXT:
  • The Hawks will host conference opponent Southern New Hampshire University on Wednesday September 18th with a 4:00PM start time.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Hawks started the match hot by winning two out of the three doubles matches, highlighted by the No. 1 doubles pair of juniors Irene Garbo (Sardinia, Italy) and Camila Heredia Osante (Oaxaca, Mexico) winning 6-0, followed by the No. 2 slot with a dominant 6-1 final.
  • In singles action, Garbo continued to show her dominance in the No. 1 slot earning a 6-2, 6-0 final win. In the No. 3 slot junior Natalia Gonzalez Ramos (Guadalajara, Spain) came to a 6-4, 6-0 final win.
  • All around, the Hawks come out with wins in doubles and singles to put away the Gulls by a 4-3 final.  
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Garbo picked up her fourth singles win moving to 4-0, and third doubles win on the season. The doubles pairing of Garbo and Heredia Osante moved to 3-1 overall on the season leading the Hawks.
