WHEELING, W.Va. – The Saint Anselm College men's golf team wrapped up the 2023-24 season at the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Championship on Saturday, May 11. The Hawks were one of five teams to withdraw following long weather-related delays on the third and final day of the event at the Oglebay Resort-Jones Course.
The Hawks' participation in the 26-team field was the second-ever appearance for the team in the NCAA postseason regional.
Senior
Robbie Forti (Danvers, Mass.) entered the final day of the three-round event tied for ninth in the field of 108 golfers after an opening-round 71 and a day-two 75 (+4).
Elsewhere for the Hawks, fifth-year
Lucas Dascoli (Everett, Mass.) carded a day-two 78 to go with his opening-round 76. Sophomore
Anthony Picano (Reading, Mass.) shaved four strokes off his opening-round 80 to card a day-two 76. Junior
Michael Papamechail (Danvers, Mass.) carded a second-round 88 and freshman
Brady Warren (Lynn, Mass.) was seven strokes better in his second round, turning in an 84.
