- The bats stayed hot for the Hawks as Howrigan doubled down the left field line, which put runners in scoring position with still nobody out. Freshman Declan Ryan (Hooksett, N.H.) helped Saint Anselm retake the lead by scoring Dow with a sacrifice fly to make it 4-3.
- Still in the same inning, junior Daniel Scolaro (Quincy, Mass.) drove a runner home with a double to left-center. That made it a two-run game and with two outs, the Hawks loaded the bases after two batters were hit by a pitch. Elmore then walked which scored a run and made it a 6-3 game.
