LOUISVILLE, Ky. - After a dominant 16-5 win over Molloy University in their season-opener, the Saint Anselm College men's lacrosse team has moved up once again in the latest United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division II national poll. The Hawks are tied at No. 5 in the nation according to the latest rankings that were released by USILA on Monday afternoon, the highest-ever ranking in the program's 30-year history.
Saint Anselm, who was ranked eighth in the USILA Division II Preseason Poll, moved up to sixth two weeks ago despite having not played a game. The team has risen once again and is now tied for the fifth spot with Northeast-10 Conference foe Adelphi University.
The Hawks will travel to Waltham, Mass. on Friday, March 1st for a nationally-ranked matchup with No. 12 Bentley University at 6:00 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, March 2nd, but has since been rescheduled.
