HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Pecor got Saint Anselm on the board in the seventh minute with her fourth goal of the year. Senior Erin Rutherford (Ashburnham, Mass.) launched a long distance shot from well over 35 yards away that gave the goalkeeper trouble and bounced off the cross-bar. The ball landed right at Pecor's feet, and she buried the rebound into the lower left corner to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead.
- Saint Anselm doubled its lead just over 38 minutes after DiGilio registered her 10th goal of the season. Rutherford hit the cross-bar again off a set piece from long range. This time, DiGilio tracked down the rebound and headed it home to make it 2-0.
- Alyssa Anderson got one back for Southern New Hampshire before the end of the first half. After making a move, she got to her right foot and fired a shot from the top of the box that went up and over the goalkeeper, which made it 2-1 at the halftime break.
- With under 10 minutes remaining, the Penmen created a great chance with Anderson and Ava Jakich-Kunze working a beautiful give-and-go combination through the attacking third. Jakich-Kunze played a through ball ahead to Anderson, who ran it down inside the penalty box and finished into the right side netting to even the score at 2-2.
