HOOKSETT, N.H. – After 90 minutes of regulation and two 10-minute overtime periods without a goal, the Saint Anselm College women's soccer team advanced past nationally ranked No. 13 Southern New Hampshire, who was seeded third, in penalty kicks to reach the Northeast-10 Championship Semifinals. The sixth-seeded Hawks made all five of their penalties to move on to the next round.

- Southern New Hampshire had six corner kicks in the match, while Saint Anselm had five.
- The Penmen were whistled for 11 fouls compared to four that the Hawks were called for.
- Saint Anselm freshman goalkeeper Samantha Swidorski (Woobury, Minn.) made seven saves in her sixth shutout performance of the season. Junior Amelia Hohos (Lakeville, Mass.) came on to replace Swidorski in the penalty shootout to help the Hawks move on. Claudia Keith made seven stops in goal for the Penmen.
- This marked the 43rd all-time meeting between Saint Anselm and Southern New Hampshire. The Hawks are now 13-23-7 against the Penmen in the series that began in 1984.
