MANCHESTER, N.H. – The fifth-seeded Saint Anselm College women's lacrosse team heads to the fourth-seed, Bentley University for a Northeast-10 Conference Quarterfinal Round matchup on Tuesday, May 2.
Tickets will be sold upon entry to the facility and will cost $10 for adults. Youth (under 18 years of age) and senior citizens may gain entry for $5 with students from Northeast-10 institutions admitted free of charge with valid institutional identification.

The Hawks wrapped up the 2023 regular season with a 20-8 win over the College of Saint Rose, improving to 12-4 on the season with an 8-4 record in conference play. The win over the Golden Knights marked the 12th win of the season for the Hawks, which is the second most in a single season in program history.
The Falcons suffered a 15-11 loss to the University of New Haven on Apr. 29, dropping them to 10-6 overall with an 8-4 record in NE10 contests.
The winner of this Quarterfinal will advance to the NE10 Semifinals and will meet the winner of top-seeded Pace University and the eighth-seed Southern New Hampshire University. That contest will take place on Friday, May 5 from the campus of the higher remaining seed.
HAWKS NOTES
- The Hawks stayed at No. 17 in Monday's edition of the ILWomen/IWLCA Division II National Poll.
- Junior Jess Sullivan (Wrentham, Mass.) leads the Hawks with 76 points, scoring 48 goals and adding 28 assists. Compared to the NE10, Sullivan ranks seventh in points, tied for eighth in goals, and fifth in assists.
- Sullivan has netted 98 goals in her time on the Hilltop, needing just two to reach 100 for her collegiate career.
- Senior Taylor Cobain (East Greenwich, R.I.) is second on the squad with 70 points. Cobain is fourth on the team with 37 goals while leading the team with 33 assists. The senior is fourth in the conference in helpers.
- Senior Lexi Palmisano (Woburn, Mass.) is tied for the Hawks lead Sullivan at 48 goals. Palmisano is third on the roster with 11 assists, totaling 59 points.
- Junior Alison Ferullo (North Andover, Mass.) has scored 38 goals, which is third on the Saint Anselm roster.
- Sophomore Samantha Rivet (Sudbury, Mass.), senior Ellie Richards (Reading, Mass.), and junior Maggie Fitzgerald (Holliston, Mass.) have netted double-digit goals for the Hawks this season.
- Junior Erin Doyle (Weymouth, Mass.) leads the Saint Anselm roster with 33 ground balls.
- Palmisano leads the Hawks with 97 draw controls and 21 caused turnovers through the regular season. Doyle is second on the team with 70 draw controls while Ferullo is second for the Hawks with 19 caused turnovers.
- Sophomore Elizabeth Driscoll (Marblehead, Mass.) has started in all 16 games from the cage for the Hawks. Driscoll owns a 9.16 goals-against average and a 0.534 save percentage which ranks fourth and first in the NE10. The sophomore is also second in the conference with 155 saves this season.
SCOUTING BENTLEY
- The Falcons came in at No. 16 in the most recent ILWomen/IWLCA Division II National Poll.
- Maeve Johnson leads the Falcons offense with 46 goals and 59 points in 2023. Johnson is tied for second on the team with 13 assists.
- Kenzie Lupton is second on the squad with 47 points, coming from 38 goals and nine assists while Amanda Davis is third with 34 points, all on goals.
- Abby Jowett leads the Bentley offense with 16 assists. Jowett has netted three goals to go with her assists for 19 points.
- Caroline Affolter and Sydney Lynch ranked first and second on the Bentley roster with 31 and 27 ground balls. They also rank one and two on the team in draw controls with 64 and 63 apiece.
- Lynch is the Bentley leader with 17 caused turnovers this season.
- Ashlee Wargo has started 15 games in the goal for the Falcons. She owns a 12.37 goals-against average and a 0.409 save percentage, totaling 131 saves on the year.
ALL-TIME, NE10 POSTSEASON
- This is the 10th appearance in the NE10 postseason for Saint Anselm.
- The Hawks own a 2-9 record in the tournament and have qualified for the Semifinal Round twice.
- Saint Anselm last qualified for the NE10 tournament in the spring of 2021 and downed Franklin Pierce University by a 17-14 score to advance to meet Bentley in the Semifinals. Bentley came away with a 13-10 win in that contest.
ALL-TIME vs. BENTLEY
- Saint Anselm and Bentley have battled 28 times in the all-times series. The Falcons enjoy a 25-3 record against the Hawks in women's lacrosse.
- The programs met less than one week ago, also from Waltham, Mass. Bentley grabbed a 14-10 win on Apr. 26, which extended Bentley's current win streak to four games against Saint Anselm.
