The Hawks added to their lead thanks to multiple attacking errors by the Purple Knights along with a pair of kills from freshman Hollyn Frano (Cave Creek, Ariz.) to make it 9-2. Back-to-back kills from senior Audrey Wetjen (Henderson, Nev.) and a service ace by Frano furthered Saint Anselm's lead to 12-3. Shortly after Pila notched her first ace of the match to make it 16-8, senior Emma Adams (Gary, Texas) would tally a kill to give the Hawks an eight-point advantage. Frano registered four kills and two aces to help secure the 25-14 win in set one for the Hawks.
- The Purple Knights jumped out to a 3-0 advantage until the Hawks tied the score thanks to a kill from Kocak and an ace by Brown. Two kills from Grace Almeida and a service ace from Alexandra Báez Rentas gave Saint Michael's an 11-9 advantage. Brown notched another pair of kills to even the score at 12-12, but the Purple Knights began to pull away with a 5-2 run to go ahead 17-14. After Pila registered a kill to make it 17-16, Saint Michael's would take control by generating an 8-2 run to tie the match at 1-1 with a 25-18 second set victory.
- In the third set, the Purple Knights took a quick 4-1 lead until an ace from senior Alina Barbarena (Los Angeles, Calif.) and a kill by Kocak tied the set at 5-5. Three consecutive kills from the Hawks gave the team a brief two-point cushion before Saint Michael's went on an 8-1 run to take back a 14-9 lead. Brown fought back registering three kills midway through the set to make it a 15-13 score. Saint Anselm narrowed the lead to one point thanks to a 4-1 run, but the Purple Knights would go on to win the set by a final score of 25-20.
