Harry Peters (Hull, Mass.), junior
Joe Sgobbo (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.), and freshman

Collins got the Hawks in business early as he led off the contest with a double down the left field line. After a pair of outs, Maurice drove a ball to left field for a two-out RBI double, giving Saint Anselm a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning.
Doran, Collins, and Clough registered three consecutive doubles as Collins brought home Doran before Clough plated Collins, giving the Hawks a 3-0 edge.
Elmore would reach base to lead off the fourth before a single up the middle by Doran. That would set up Collins, who laced a single through the left side to score Elmore, pushing the Hawks lead to 4-0. After a strikeout, graduate student
Salvatore Pezzolla (East Greenbush, N.Y.) drew a walk to load the bases for Maurice. The senior drove a high fly to deep left field but
Liam Sears would be there to make the play on the warning track, stranding the bases loaded.
Bentley managed to open its half of the fourth inning with a leadoff double followed by an error, putting runners on first and second with no outs. A hard hit single to first would load the bases for
Tyler Gonzalez who put a slow chopper in play, scoring the runner from third. Bentley added another run on a groundout by
Steve Rizzuto but Betty would get out of the inning with the Hawks holding a 4-2 advantage.
The Falcons made it a one-run game in the bottom of the sixth as
Eddy Beauregard led off the inning with a single and stole second. Beauregard later advanced to third on a groundout and score on a single through the left side by
Tim Zupkus. Betty would close the inning with a ground out as the Hawks headed to the seventh with a 4-3 lead.
Pezzolla and Maurice would walk and single to open the seventh and advance to second and third on a throwing error. Pezzolla would come across to score on a wild pitch before Elmore launched his fourth home run of the season, extending the lead to 7-3.
Saint Anselm added two more runs in the seventh inning as freshman
Danny Kent (Hanson, Mass.) followed the homer with a single before Doran walked. Both runners would advance on a passed ball allowing a single to left field by Collins to plate both runners and give the Hawks a 9-3 lead.
The Hawks recorded three more runs in the top of the eighth as Elmore hit his second home run on the game, this one a three run big fly to left field which made the score 12-3. A single by Clough scored Doran which marked a four-run eighth for the Hawks.
Bentley loaded the bases in the bottom of the eighth and capitalized on the opportunity, scoring on a fielder's choice and a sacrifice fly which made the score 13-5 through eight innings of play.
The Falcons added two more runs in the bottom of the ninth as the Hawks walked the bases loaded before a fielder's choice plated one run and a single brought home another. A fielder's choice closed the contest, giving the Haws a 13-7 win.
