Senior co-captain
Kilian Hammersmith (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) and junior alternate captain

Matt Hayes (Salem, N.H.) and freshman
Hunter Brackett (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) netted the other Hawks' tallies. Six student-athletes recorded an assist in the contest with Hayes and junior
Mark Leach (Londonderry, N.H.) posting two helpers each.
With two goals in the contest, Andary now has 31 points on the season (15 G, 16 A). He is the first student-athlete to eclipse the 30-point mark since the 2012-13 season when

Andary got the Hawks on the board with a slap shot goal from just inside the blue line. Andary collected a pass in the Saint Anselm defensive end from freshman
Mark Blaney (Braintree, Mass.) and drove to the attacking zone, opting to shoot in a one-on-two at 11:40 of the first period.
Hammersmith doubled the Hawks lead at 14:34 when he fired a wrist shot by Greyhounds netminder
David Altman. Hayes won an offensive zone face-off back to Leach, who slid a pass to Hammersmith who skated to the circle and scored inside the top-left of the goal on the power play.
The Hawks would net a third goal of the opening stanza as Brackett deflected a shot from Leach at 18:12.
Hayes gave Saint Anselm a 4-0 advantage with a second period power play goal at 8:39 of the period. Sophomore
Tommy Schwartz (Ridgefield, Conn.) slid a pass across the slot for Hayes who fired a shot just under the crossbar for his sixth goal of the season.
Andary forced a turnover while shorthanded and went in on
Drew Benedict, who came in in relief for Altman. Andary made a move to his backhand to beat Benedict 2:40 into the third period.
John Pigott put the scoring in Assumption's favor as he redirected a shot from
Devan Sheth on the power play at 3:55 of the third period, pushing the score to 5-1.
The Greyhounds added their second tally just 27 seconds later as
Jimmy McDermott forced a turnover below the goal line and sent a pass to
Michael Zampanti who one-timed a shot by Hawks junior goaltender
Nick Howard (Burlington, Mass.), cutting the Hawks lead to three.
Hammersmith scored his second goal of the contest at 11:43 of the final frame, deflecting a pass from sophomore
Jac Cordeiro (Barnstable, Mass.) in the slot and beating Benedict on his left.
Saint Anselm scored twice on five power play opportunities while Assumption was one-for-four with the man advantage.
Howard stopped 35 of 37 shots on goal including at least 11 in each period. Altman allowed four goals on 22 shots while Benedict turned aside 27 of 29 shots on target.
