The Hawks fell to Pace University, who is receiving votes in the D2SIDA and Women's Basketball Coaches' Association National Polls, by a 63-56 score on Feb. 13. The Hawks posted back-to-back wins prior to Sunday and are now 12-11 on the season with an 8-8 mark against the NE10. Following the tilt with the Ravens, the Hawks host Saint Michael's College on Saturday, Feb. 19 in their final regular season home contest. Saint Anselm will honor its senior class against Saint Michael's.
The Ravens dropped their last contest to the College of Saint Rose on Feb. 14 by an 84-77 score. Franklin Pierce is now 10-10 on its season and 6-8 in NE10 contests. The team hosts Southern New Hampshire University on Thursday, Feb. 17 opening a four-game home stretch to close the regular season.

SCOUTING SAINT ANSELM
- Senior Peyton Steinman (Pittsfield, Mass.) moved into second all-time in scoring women's basketball program history on Sunday after scoring a game high 21 points. She now has 1,677 points while wearing a Saint Anselm uniform, trailing only Shannon Ryan '20 who netted 1,769 points in 93 career games on the Hilltop.
- Steinman leads the NE10 in scoring, averaging 20.6 points per game. She has attempted 155 free throws, making 136 of them which is the most in the conference, good for an 87.7 free throw percentage. Steinman is fifth nationally in free throw attempts and second in makes while sitting in 17th in free throw percentage.
- The senior and sophomore Gabby Turco (Wildwood, N.J.) swept the NE10's weekly awards on Monday as Steinman was named the Player of the Week while Turco was the conference's Rookie of the Week. Turco netted 16 points and grabbed nine boards, coming up one rebound short of her second career double-double against Pace.
- The sophomore is averaging 16.4 points per game which is sixth best in the NE10 and leads all rookies in scoring. Turco has posted at least 12 points in all but two games this season. She is grabbing 4.5 rebounds per game which is second on the squad.
- Junior Liv Robles (Wallingford, Conn.) added eight points off the bench against the Setters while classmate Macy Spinks (Luton, England) chipped in five points for the Hawks. Both juniors grabbed six boards each. Robles and freshman Melanie Hoyt (Stamford, Conn.) blocked two shot attempts each in Sunday's loss.
- Saint Anselm leads the NE10 in free throws made per game (14.2) and free throw percentage (79.2) while ranking second in free throw attempts per game (17.8) and turnovers per game (14.0.).
SCOUTING FRANKLIN PIERCE
- Gisela Vazquez Segura netted a team-high 20 points in the Ravens loss to Saint Rose. Emma Carter and Rylee Skinner added 14 points each while Anna Badosa Soler canned 11 points for Franklin Pierce.
- Carter ranks third in the conference, averaging 19.4 points per game. She leads the conference in free throw percentage at 90.7, making 78 of 86 attempts from the charity stripe.
- Skinner is second on the team with an average of 12.9 points per game while Lisa Sulejmani follows closely in third at 12.6.
- Ines Gimenez Monserrat is grabbing 6.2 caroms per games to lead the Ravens. Vazquez Segura, Carter, and Sulejmani are all averaging over five rebounds per game.
- Sulejmani is tied for third in the conference with 4.7 assists per contest and is averaging 2.2 steals per game which is good for fourth.
- The Ravens attempt the most shots per game in the conference at 63.9. They also average 10.6 steals per game which is most in the NE10.
ALL-TIME vs. FRANKLIN PIERCE
- This will be the 62nd meeting in the all-time series between the Hawks and Ravens. Saint Anselm owns a 38-23 record against Franklin Pierce.
- Earlier this season, the Hawks posted a 75-69 win on Dec. 12 in Rindge, N.H. Steinman buried a game-high 28 points while Turco added 18 for the Hawks offense. Saint Anselm netted 11 of the game's final 14 points on its way to the six-point victory.
- The Hawks are currently riding a 10-game win streak over the Ravens, dating back to Feb. 3, 2016 which is the longest streak for either side in the series.
