MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College men's basketball team has rattled off four wins in a row entering Saturday's 3:30 p.m. showdown with visiting Le Moyne College on Saturday.

After losing two games in a row to begin the 2021-22 season, Saint Anselm has won nine of its last 11 games and has not lost a game in the New Year.
Le Moyne owns an 8-6 record with a 4-3 mark versus NE10 opponents. The Dolphins have won two games in a row, including a 68-61 result on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at home against Saint Michael's. Prior to that game, Le Moyne edged Southern New Hampshire, 77-72, at Ted Grant Court.
The reigning NE10 title-holders, Saint Anselm has played nine of its 13 games so far at home in Stoutenburgh Gymnasium and begin a three-game road trip on Tuesday, Jan. 25 at Saint Rose.
Fans attending Saturday's game are expected to familiarize themselves with the College's spectator and ticketing policies.

SCOUTING SAINT ANSELM
- Saint Anselm used a 21-6 second-half scoring run over New Haven on Wednesday, locking down a 67-60 victory over the Chargers. The game was a rematch of the 2020 NE10 title tilt between New Haven and Saint Anselm – in that game, the Hawks came away with the overtime victory, winning their ninth NE10 postseason title.
- Senior Gustav Suhr-Jessen (Virum, Denmark) keyed his team's big run in the second half against New Haven, scoring seven of his team's 21 points in that spurt to finish with 15 points and 10 rebounds for the game. Senior Miles Tention (Palo Alto, Calif.) had a team-leading 17 points, knocking down five triples and handing out a game-high six assists.
- Senior Chris Paul (Highland Mills, N.Y.) had 14 points with eight rebounds and four assists against New Haven. Junior Tyler Arbuckle (Bristol, Conn.) rounded out the double-digit point scorers for Saint Anselm, logging 12 points with five rebounds.
- Tention owns a three-point field goal percentage of 44.0%, the second-best rate in the NE10. His 51.1% field goal percentage is in the top-10 of student-athletes in the league.
- Shooting 54.6% from the free throw line in the first three games of the season (35-for-64), the Hawks have since shot nearly 76% in the 10 games since (143-for-189). Saint Anselm has gone to the line 178 times so far this season, ranking fourth in the NE10.
- Saint Anselm is second in the NE10 with a 69.2% winning percentage.
- The Hawks are third in the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.17), assists per game (14.9), and defensive rebounds per game (28.69). The team ranks 30th in NCAA Division II in defensive rebounds per game.
- Head Coach Keith Dickson has won 673 games across a 36-year career on the Hilltop. Among active NCAA Division II coaches with at least 30 seasons to their credit, Dickson's .660 winning percentage is the fifth-highest.
LOOKING AT LE MOYNE
- After posting a 19-9 overall record in 2019-20, the Dolphins were set to take on Saint Anselm in the First Round of the 2020 NCAA Division II East Region Championship before its cancellation. This season, Le Moyne is out to an 8-6 record.
- Le Moyne throws up 5.4 blocked shots per game, ranking sixth in NCAA Division II. The team has also produced 8.8 steals per game, leading the NE10 and ranking 34th in the country. The team's 75 total blocks are 10th in the nation.
- The Dolphins force opponents into 16.93 turnovers per game on average, to lead the NE10. However, Le Moyne itself commits 17.6 miscues on average to rank dead last in the conference – the Dolphins also rank 14th in both three-point field goal attempts (254) and assist-to-turnover ratio (0.73).
- After posting a rebounding margin of +17 against USciences on Nov. 28, the Dolphins have not hauled in more than six or less than six rebounds than their opponents since.
- Le Moyne has made eight or more three-point baskets on just three occasions so far this year despite posting double-digit attempts in all but one game to date.
- Kevin Constant (1.14) and Christian Davis (1.07) rank fifth and seventh, respectively, in the NE10 in blocked shots. Davis ranks third in the conference with 96 assists to his credit.
- Nate Champion, a 2014 graduate of Le Moyne, is in his third year with the Dolphins after a standout playing career for the team. He shot .514 from the floor in his four-game career against Saint Anselm, averaging 13 points per game – he handed out 10 helpers against the Hawks on Jan. 22, 2014.
ALL-TIME vs. LE MOYNE
- Saint Anselm is 29-19 against Le Moyne in the all-time series. The Dolphins have won five of the last six games, dating back to Jan. 10, 2017.
- The Hawks battled Le Moyne in the very first NCAA postseason appearance for Saint Anselm, an 88-75 win in the 1960 NCAA Northeast District basketball championship. Saint Anselm made 32 of its 40 free throws against Le Moyne in that first NCAA appearance, led by Robin Munroe and his 17 free throw makes.
- Saint Anselm has won eight of the last 12 games against Le Moyne that have been played in Stoutenburgh Gymnasium. The Hawks are 14-7 all-time versus the Dolphins in games played on the Hilltop.
