The Hawks earned a 3-0 home opening win this past Saturday. It was their first contest since the final game of the 2019 regular season. The Hawks remain on the road this weekend at Saint Michael's which will be the last non-conference tune-up before Bentley comes to the Hilltop to open Northeast-10 Conference play.

The Redhawks are 1-1 on the season. They earned a 3-0 win on Thursday over Malone and closed their opening week with a 4-1 loss at Walsh. Roberts Wesleyan is making its home debut and is hosting three straight contests before playing Molloy in the East Coast Conference (ECC) opener.

SCOUTING THE HAWKS
  • Junior Taylor Silverstein (Concord, N.H.) registered the first goal of the Hawks season after he found himself with space to work and a clear lane to goal. He fired a shot into the back of the goal in the 30th minute, which proved to be the game-winning goal.
  • Senior Zach Elliot (Manchester, N.H.), the NE10 Men's Soccer Player of the Week, recorded two second half goals and an assist on the first goal for five points on the day.
  • For the second consecutive season, Elliot scored two goals in the season opener.
  • Junior Brian Underhill (Westford, Mass.) posted a shutout, making two saves. He faced a total of nine shots, however, only two managed to go on frame.
  • Making his collegiate debut, sophomore Zach Verow (Bedford, N.H.) earned his first career point by way of an assist on the opening goal.
  • Silverstein is the team leader with five shots. Elliot has registered four while senior Michael Fortin (Goffstown, N.H.) earned three shots. Juniors Josue Assantha (Bukavu, Democratic Republic of Congo) and Kevin Jordan (Danvers, Mass.) each have fired two shots.
  • Elliot leads the team with five points (2 G, 1 A) with Silverstein at three points (1 G, 1 A), and Verow with one point (1 A).
  • The Hawks registered 18 shots with 12 of them on goal in the win.

ALL-TIME vs. ROBERTS WESLEYAN
  • Wednesday's matchup will be the third time these teams have met.
  • The series is tied with one win going to each side.
  • The Hawks earned a 2-1 win in the 2019 contest at Melucci Field. Elliot was credited with the game-winning goal. Silverstein opened the scoring in the game's second minute.
  • Prior to that contest, almost 17 years spread the two meetings which the Redhawks took by a 2-1 score in Rochester, N.Y. on Sept. 15, 2004.
