MANCHESTER, N.H. – The women's tennis team returned to Northeast-10 Conference action on Sunday when the squad hosted Le Moyne, but the Hawks came up short, falling by a final score of 7-0.

Emily Jacy (Glastonbury, Conn.) and freshman
Julia Svor (Lewiston, Maine) battled the Dolphins on a windy afternoon, although Le Moyne's
Birdem Oz and
Francesca Lilliegren would prevail, 7-5. The Hawks other doubles teams were each downed by scores of 6-0.
During singles play, the home Hawks were outmatched by a strong Le Moyne squad which currently sits atop the NE10 standings with an unblemished record of 4-0 (3-0 NE10). Freshman
Elle Doucette (Newburyport, Mass.) posted the best showing for Saint Anselm, playing a hard fought, back and forth match before losing 6-4, 6-1.
Saint Anselm is now 1-6 (0-5 NE10) and will host AIC on Friday at the Derryfield School in Manchester.
