HAWKS NOTES
- After a 2-0 week, the Hawks, the 21st-ranked team in all of Division II according to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) National Poll, remain undefeated in 2021 with a 4-0 overall and 3-0 against Northeast-10 Conference opponents. The Hawks look to make it five straight wins as the squad also posted a 4-0 record at the conclusion of 2020 season. The last time the Hawks won five straight was back in 2019 when Saint Anselm claimed a 22-1 victory over Barton on Mar. 5 and then ended its streak on Mar. 27.
- Saint Anselm is returning to the field after its first away game since Mar. 3, 2020 when the Hawks defeated Embry-Riddle (Fla.), 18-11.
- With a few weeks left in the NE10 regular season, the Hawks currently sit in the top spot of the NE10's Northeast Division with the Falcons nearby in second with a .800 winning percentage and a 4-1 conference record. The Hawks are scheduled to have five more games in the remainder of the 2021 regular season with three of them coming at Grappone Stadium.
- 22 of the Hawks 55 goals have come off the sticks of seniors Kelsey Czarnota (Wakefield, Mass.) and Jenna Balboni (Billerica, Mass.) as both of them have recorded 10 or more goals so far this season. 16 of the team's 22 assists has been dished by senior Annie Richards (Reading, Mass.), whose team holds the fourth-best assists per game mark with 5.50 in the conference.
- Czarnota has the 12th-best caused turnover per game rate in all of Division II with a 2.50 mark while also ranking seventh in the NE10 in goals per game with 3.00.
- Balboni led the Hawks goal scorers in each of the Hawks wins last week, totaling eight points (7-1=8) on seven goals and one assist.
- After ending her points streak on Saturday, Richards looks to make an impact against the nationally-ranked Falcons as she ranks second in the nation in assists per game with 4.00.
- The Hawks defense has also allowed only 22 goals out of its four opponents. The Saint Anselm defense is led by junior goalkeeper Grace Young (Merrimack, N.H.) who holds a 5.50 goals-against average that ranks fourth in the nation. Her .600 save percentage sits second in the NE10 and third in NCAA Division II. Young stopped a career-high 14 shots in the hard-fought win over Stonehill on Saturday after posting four saves and yielding four goals against Saint Michael's on Wednesday.

She had an all-around performance in an 11-9 win at Stonehill, netting three goals and one assist, while also posting four ground balls and five draw controls.
