MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College women's ice hockey team battles with Dartmouth College in a home-and-home series on Saturday, Nov. 27 and Sunday, Nov. 28. Saturday's action from Hanover, N.H. is slated for a 3 p.m. start.

The Hawks suffered a pair of losses at Long Island University on Nov. 19 and Nov. 20 by scores of 5-1 and 3-2 (OT). With the losses, Saint Anselm falls to 4-9-1 on the season with a 3-4-1 record in New England Women's Hockey Alliance play. After the home-and-home series with the Big Green, the Hawks conclude their non-conference slate by hosting Brown University on Thursday, Dec. 2 in their final contest of the fall semester.
The Big Green has not played a contest in two weeks as they fell to Brown and Yale on Nov. 12 and Nov. 13. Dartmouth is now 3-5-0 overall and 2-5-0 in ECAC Hockey play. After the weekend pair of contests, the Big Green host Rochester Polytechnic Institute and Union in a pair of ECAC Hockey contests before competing against Franklin Pierce and Post to round out the fall semester.

SCOUTING THE HAWKS
- In the most recent USCHO.com Division I Women's Poll, which came out on Nov. 22, Saint Anselm met four of the nation's top-10 teams earlier in the season in Northeastern, Quinnipiac, Yale, and Harvard. Those meetings were part of a six-game stretch to open the season from Oct. 2 to Oct. 23. Since then, the Hawks are 3-4-1 against NEWHA opponents.
- Senior Erin Meyers (Saint Paul, Minn.) netted both of the Hawks goals in the 3-2 overtime loss to LIU. She now leads the team in goals with four and points with nine. Meyers is also responsible for both of the Hawks shorthanded goals this season. Senior Kelly Golini (Tewksbury, Mass.), freshman Gracee Donovan (Orchard Park, N.Y.), and sophomore Maddy McCaffery (Weymouth, Mass.) have lit the lamp three times.
- Sophomore Brinna Martin (St. Michael, Minn.) is the team leader in assists with six. Meyers is second with five while Golini, sophomore Claire Weber (Marshfield, Mass.), and freshman Madi Ressler (Brighton, Mich.) have four helpers each.
- Junior Allie Kelley (East Berne, N.Y.) currently holds the program record for most saves in a single game with 58 and has eclipsed 50 saves in a single game four times this season. She has started 13 games for Saint Anselm and a 3.44 goals against average and a .919 save percentage. Kelley leads the NEWHA in total saves with 475.
- The Hawks have netted 23 goals on the season with six of them coming on the power play. The team is converting with the extra attacker at 9.1% (6-for-66). On the penalty kill, the Hawks are killing off penalties at 84.1% (11-for-69).
SCOUTING THE BIG GREEN
- The Big Green opened the season with losses to Harvard and Colgate before capturing their first win over Cornell. Since then, the team has gone 2-3 with back-to-back wins over St. Lawrence and Vermont, in their only non-conference contests to date. In their most recent contests, the Big Green suffered losses to Brown and Yale by 1-0 and 8-3 scores.
- Gabby Billing and Currie Putrah are tied for the team lead in goals with three each. Laura Fuoco, Tiffany Hill, and Lauren Messier are the lone other student-athletes to find the back of the net multiple times on the season.
- Fuoco leads the team in assists with four and points with six. Hill and Catherine Trevors are tied for second on the squad with three helpers each.
- Maggie Emerson has started all eight games for the Big Green. She has a 3.63 goals-against average and an .885 save percentage. Through eight games, she has accumulated 223 saves.
- Dartmouth is averaging 2.4 goals per game as they have netted 19 goals. The team is 5-for-27 on the power play, converting at 18.5%. They have allowed seven goals while shorthanded, killing off penalties at 73.1%.
ALL-TIME vs. DARTMOUTH
- These will be the first and second meetings between the programs all-time.
- Saint Anselm is 27-27-5 against current National Collegiate level competition, excluding current NEWHA members.
- Against teams from the ECAC this season, the Hawks are 0-4-0 on the season and have just one contest against an ECAC opponent after the home-and-home with Dartmouth. Saint Anselm is 1-1 from programs calling Hockey East home.
