BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The NCAA Division II Men's Basketball East Region Championship, hosted by the University of Bridgeport, will be conducted without spectators.

According to a press release issued by the University of Bridgeport, recently confirmed cases of COVID-19 and a declaration of a State of Emergency in Connecticut have led to the decision that was rendered at noon on Wednesday.

Saint Anselm (21-8), the No. 4 seed in the tournament, will battle the fifth-seeded Le Moyne (19-9) side at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 14.
