MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College Department of Athletics inducted six individuals into its Athletics Hall of Fame on Saturday, Feb. 15 in a ceremony at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics.

The six-member class consisted of Chris Bagley '02 (men's soccer), Kelsey (Johnson) Kane '09 (women's ice hockey), Tim Karalexis '02 (men's soccer), Alana McNeil '08 (volleyball), Jim Moore '06 (men's basketball) and Coleman Noonan '11 (men's ice hockey).
The event started with a reception for the inductees and their friends and family in the Event Space located in the Roger and Francine Jean Student Center. The official unveiling and blessing of the newly-created Salamone Family Athletics Hall of Fame space, located between Stoutenburgh Gymnasium and the Jean Student Center, took place prior to dinner and the induction ceremony at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics.
Fr. Benet Phillips, O.S.B., a 1987 graduate of Saint Anselm, offered the evening's invocation and he was followed by College President Dr. Joseph A. Favazza. Darren Clough '96, a four-year member of the Hawks men's basketball team and an Athletics Hall of Fame inductee in 2001, was then officially inducted into the Northeast-10 Conference Hall of Fame by league president, Julie Ruppert.
The induction ceremony then commenced with each of the honorees presented by a friend, family member or former teammate.
Established in 1980, the Saint Anselm College Athletics Hall of Fame recognizes student-athletes, coaches and athletics administrators who have brought recognition to themselves and the College through their efforts on and off the playing surface. The Hall of Fame was revived in 2017 after a 10-year hiatus when the Class of 2007 was finally inducted along with two additional candidates from the Class of 2017.
