Saint Anselm (4-1-0) got points from 12 different skaters to blank Post (0-6-0) for the second-straight day and record its highest scoring output in nearly a year. The last time the Hawks scored at least seven goals in a game was a 10-2 win at Daniel Webster College on Dec. 2, 2016.

In addition to Ferraro and Andreucci's two-goal games, sophomore Ryan Spillane had a career-high three points on a goal and two assists and senior Justin Longo tallied a career-best three assists. Senior Jon Pallotta and freshman John Femia also scored in the victory.

Pallotta and Femia scored in the game's opening 10 minutes to kick-start a four-goal first period for the Hawks. From the right, Jonathan Folsom found Pallotta with a cross-ice pass on an odd-man rush at 7:04 of the opening for the senior's third-straight game with a goal. Less than three minutes later, Femia spun in front of the net and scored on the backhand side for his second collegiate goal to double his team's lead.

Andreucci scored his first-career goal at 15:05 of the opening period to make it 3-0 after being set up in front by Spillane. Ferraro capped the four-goal first period in the final minute, scoring on a 3-on-1 rush after being set up unselfishly by Bryan Green at 19:18.

Ferraro, Andreucci and Spillane grabbed goals in the second period to help the Hawks open up a 7-0 lead. A Post turnover at its own blue line led to Ferraro's second of the night, as Ferraro fired a one-timer into the top corner off a feed by Matt Chisholm at 5:34. At 12:08, Andreucci netted a wrist shot across the goalie after collecting a drop pass from Spillane, who capped the scoring at 15:16 from nearly the same spot.

Senior netminder Shane Joyce, who earned the 10th Northeast-10 Conference Goaltender of the Week award of his career earlier in the week, backed up a 20-save shutout on Friday with a 19-save shutout. Joyce has stopped 64 of the 66 shots he's faced in three starts this season, good for a save percentage of .970.

Post used three goaltenders in the game, with Brandon Brown suffering the loss after surrendering five goals on 18 shots in a little over a period. Nick Levesque was a bright spot for the Eagles, stopping all 17 Saint Anselm shots in the third period.

The teams were a combined 0-for-9 on the power play in the game, as the Hawks were 0-for-6 and the Eagles went 0-for-3. Shots were 43-19 in favor of Saint Anselm.

The Hawks look to improve on their 4-1 home record on Tuesday, Nov. 21 when Worcester State visits Sullivan Arena for a 7 p.m. start.
