GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – Corey Murray scored for the second time this season in the closing minutes but the Saint Anselm College women's soccer team fell 4-1 at No. 11 Adelphi in its Northeast-10 Conference opener on Saturday afternoon at Motamed Field.

Murray's goal for Saint Anselm (2-2, 0-1 NE-10) came after Adelphi (3-0, 1-0 NE-10) had built a four-goal lead. The Panthers scored three times in less than 15 minutes in the opening half and added another with 11 minutes remaining.
Trailing 4-0, Murray put home a rebound off an assist by Kendra Boczar at the 84:32 mark to get the Hawks on the board. Murray's goal ties her with Bonczar for the team lead, while Bonczar's helper gives her a team-high six points this season.
