MANCHESTER, N.H. – Elisa Galbiati scored twice to send The College of Saint Rose to a 3-0 victory over the Saint Anselm College women's soccer team on Tuesday afternoon at Melucci Field.

Galbiati scored once in each half after Eva Frazzoni scored the opening goal for Saint Rose (9-5-0, 6-5-0 NE-10). Madison Taylor took care of the rest, making four saves to hold Saint Anselm (5-9-1, 3-7-1 NE-10) off the board.
Frazzoni gave the Golden Knights the lead in the 18th minute by tapping in Karmyn Carter's cross after it came loose in the box. Nine minutes later, Galbiati nodded in Elisa Galbiati's corner kick to double the Saint Rose lead.
Just before the half, the Hawks had their best chance of the game but Taylor denied Kaila Sullivan in a 1-on-1 after Sullivan was played in by Corey Murray.
The score remained 2-0 until the 71st minute when Galbiati grabbed her second goal of the game, volleying in Predanic's free kick from just outside the box on the right wing in at the near post.
Saint Rose outshot Saint Anselm 18-12 in the game and held an 8-5 edge in corner kicks. Cassie Quattropani made five saves for the Hawks but suffered the loss.
The Hawks return to action on Friday, Oct. 21 in a 7 p.m. kickoff at Merrimack.
