FAYETTEVILLE, N.Y. – The Saint Anselm College women's tennis team earned a pair of doubles wins, but dropped a 7-2 decision to Le Moyne College on Saturday afternoon at Fayetteville-Manlius High School.
The Hawks dip to 2-8 on the season and in Northeast-10 play, while the Dolphins improve to 3-12, 2-8 NE-10.
Senior Katherine Morrissey (Sturbridge, Mass.) and junior Kate Martin (Hudson, N.H.) teamed up to take down Christina Perry and Jessica Geary, 8-5, in No. 1 doubles, while sophomore Courtney Russell (North Reading, Mass.) and classmate Leah Fitzgerald (Bedford, N.H.) combined for an 8-5 No. 3 doubles win against Michelle McCabe and Kennedy Langlois.
