MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Senior Vivian Fitzgerald (Winfield, Ill.) led the Hawks with six kills for a .455 hitting percentage, but the Saint Anselm College volleyball team fell to Millersville University, 3-0, Sunday afternoon with set scores of 25-17, 25-19 and 25-16.
In addition to Fitzgerald, senior Kyla Gustavson (Nashua, N.H.) also contributed offensively with six kills of her own to go along with eight digs. Sophomore Lauren Oxley (Bristow, Va.) and freshman Catherine Morgan (Farmington Hills, Mich.) each recorded five kills.
Freshman CC Chrisom (Dover, N.H.) accumulated seven digs, as Morgan and junior Holland McNabb (Huntington Beach, Calif.) each chipped in four.
Junior Natalie Steinwart (Aurora, Ill.) aided in the effort with 23 assists and four digs.
