WALTHAM, Mass. – Junior Alexandra Lawrence (N. Scituate, Mass.) captured her singles match, but the Saint Anselm College women's tennis team fell to Bentley University, 8-1, Friday afternoon at Bentley's Outdoor Tennis Courts.
The Hawks drop to 6-6 on the season and in Northeast-10 play, while the Falcons improve to 9-10, 9-3 NE-10.
Lawrence defeated Paulina Sotomayor in No. 1 singles action, 6-2, 7-6.
The Hawks wrap up their regular season Saturday, April 14 at 1 p.m. when they play host to Assumption College at the Saint Anselm Outdoor Tennis Courts on Senior Day.
