MANCHESTER, N.H. – Junior Alexandra Lawrence (N. Scituate, Mass.) earned a pair of points, but the Saint Anselm College women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to Assumption College on Saturday afternoon at the Saint Anselm Outdoor Tennis Courts on Senior Day.
The Hawks finish 6-7 both on the season and in Northeast-10 play, while the Greyhounds improve to 9-12, 6-7 NE-10.
Lawrence defeated Chrissy Lyon in No. 1 singles action, 2-6, 6-0, 6-0. Lawrence then teamed with sophomore Katherine Morrissey (Sturbridge, Mass.) to post an 8-1 victory in No. 1 doubles against Lyon and Erica Micciche.
This marked the final career match for senior Amanda Brahm (Marlborough, Conn.).
