EASTON, Mass. – Eric Moriarty (Center Harbor, N.H.) made two saves in net, but the Saint Anselm college men's soccer team fell to Stonehill College, 1-0, Tuesday afternoon.

With the loss, the Hawks drop to 5-10-1 and 5-7-0 in the Northeast-10 conference, while the Skyhawks improve to 4-11-1 and 3-9-0 in league play.

Stonehill jumped on the board at 5:35 when Kevin Gilmartin sent a free kick into the box that connected with Drew Montano, who headed the ball into the net past Moriarty.

Over 90 minutes, Moriarty made just two saves, while Skyhawk goalkeeper Adam Colella totaled five stops.

Saint Anselm held a 16-12 advantage in shots, as well as a 7-2 edge in corner kicks.
