WALTHAM, Mass. – Melissa Jewett (Newton, Mass.) amassed 15 digs as the Saint Anselm College volleyball team fell to Bentley University, 3-0, Tuesday evening at the Dana Center with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, and 25-21.
The Hawks now move to an overall record of 5-8 and 1-2 in Northeast-10 play, while the Falcons now stand at 6-9 overall and 2-2 in league play.
In the first set, Saint Anselm kept a tight hold on Bentley keeping the Falcons within two the entire game. It was not until the Falcons went on a four-point scoring streak at 21-21 that they were able to seal the deal 25-21.
Kyla Gustavson (Nashua, N.H.) chipped in five kills and five digs over three sets, while Morgan du Bray (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) dished 21 assists.
Melissa Ouellet (Salem, N.H) added four kills and one dig to her credit, with teammate Holland McNabb (Huntington Beach, Calif.) contributing four kills and a pair of digs.
On the day, Saint Anselm totaled 22 kills and 34 digs.
