Fourth-quarter tallies by junior Tyler Steinetz (Sparta, N.J.) and freshman Jake Mallinson (Middletown, R.I.) were not enough as NYIT buried four goals in the period to seal the win.
Sophomore Daniel Sullivan (Rumford, R.I.) recorded an assist on the Steinetz goal.
