RINDGE, N.H. - Saint Anselm College women's soccer goaltender Gabriella Primera (Kennett Square, Pa.) made six saves as the Hawks and the Ravens of Franklin Pierce University played to a 0-0 double overtime draw at Sodexo Field. The Ravens take their second tie of their season as their overall record stands at 6-8-2 overall (4-8-2 NE-10). The Hawks draw their third tie of the season and their overall record stands at 3-10-3 on the season (3-8-3 NE-10).
Emily Rooney (Quincy, Mass.) and Emma Furlone (Keene, N.H.) each recorded a shot for Saint Anselm as the Hawks were outshot by a 20-to-two margin overall. The Ravens fired six total shots on Primera in the tie.
Following the tie, Primera's record stands at 3-10-3 after posting her third shutout of the season. Jocelyn Leon turned aside the lone shot on goal that she faced, fired on net by Furlone.
The Hawks return to action Saturday, Oct. 29 as they host Southern Connecticut State University. The final contest of the season for Saint Anselm will also feature Senior Day festivities, starting 10 minutes prior to the 2:00 p.m. game time start at Melucci Field.
