New Haven, Conn. (November 5th) -- The Saint Anselm volleyball team was on the road tonight to play their second to last game of the season against the Chargers of New Haven. Despite eight kills by Charlotte Tencza (Greenfield, Mass.), the Hawks lost the match 3-0.
The scores of the sets were 25-9, 25-11, and 25-10.
In the match, Tencza had eight kills and six digs. Margaret Tereschuk (Mission Viejo, Calif.) recorded 15 digs and an assist. Kyla Gustavson (Nashua, N.H.) tallied three kills and three digs, while Rachel Flaherty (Cold Spring, N.Y.) assisted on 16 of the Hawks 18 kills.
The Hawks, who are now 3-16 overall and 2-12 in the league, are on the road tomorrow afternoon for their final match of the season. They square off against Southern Connecticut at 1:00 pm.
