Springfield, Mass. (October 29th) -- The Saint Anselm volleyball team was on the road this evening to take on the Yellow Jackets of AIC. The Hawks were unable to mount an attack, and were beaten by the Yellow Jackets, 3-0.

The Hawks dropped the three sets by scores of 25-17, 25-16, and 25-12.

In the match, Charlotte Tencza (Greenfield, Mass.) led the Hawks with eight kills through the three sets. Lauren Ross (Dracut, Mass.) tallied five kills, while Kylie Kozlowski (Quincy, Mass.) recorded four kills and three digs. Rachel Flaherty (Cold Spring, N.Y.) assisted on 17 of the Hawks 21 kills and Margaret Tereschuk (Mission Viejo, Cal.) added 11 digs.

The Hawks, who are now 2-15 overall and 1-11 in the Northeast-10, return to action tomorrow to take on the Greyhounds of Assumption College. Before the game, the Hawks will honor two seniors, Stephanie Devlin (Beverly, Mass.) and Kelly Rudolph (Winter Park, Fl.), on their accomplishments with the team.
