North Andover, Mass. (October 23rd) – The
Saint Anselm Hawks volleyball team was on the road this afternoon
to take on Northeast-10 Conference opponent Merrimack College. The
Hawks were defeated by the Warriors 3-0, dropping their record to
2-14 overall (1-10, Northeast-10), while the win improves the
Warriors record to 7-13 overall (5-6, Northeast-10).
The Hawks dropped the three sets by scores of 25-21, 25-18, and
25-18.
In the match, Charlotte Tencza (Greenfield,
Mass.) led the Hawks with nine kills and six digs.
Rachel Flaherty (Cold Spring, N.Y.) chipped in
with 26 assists and four digs. Kylie Kozlowski (Quincy,
Mass.) added six kills and four digs, while Kyla
Gustavson (Nashua, N.H.) tallied five kills and 11 digs.
Margaret Tereschuk (Mission Viejo, Cal.) totaled
16 digs to lead the Hawks defensively.
The Hawks will take the court again next Friday, October 29th,
when they travel to AIC to take on the Yellow Jackets. The
Northeast-10 Conference match will begin at 7:00
pm.
