Colchester, Vermont (November 2)-The Saint
Anselm women's volleyball team fell to the Purple Knights of Saint
Michael's College 3-0 Sunday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference
action. The loss drops the Hawks to 3-18 overall and 0-13 in NE-10
play.
For Saint Michael's, sophomore Lindsey Frazier (Albany,
N.Y.) had a match-high 15 kills, while senior
Audrey Rose Hagert (Berlin, Conn.) added 14 kills.
Senior Amy Manougian
(Rye,
N.H.) had a match-best 40 assists
and added 10 digs, while classmate Stephanie Smetana
(Independence,
Mo.) recorded a contest-high 17
digs.
For Saint Anselm, freshman outside hitter
Charlotte Tencza
(Greenfield, Mass.) had a team-high 13 kills.
Senior Samantha Regan
(Danville,
N.H.) had 12 digs, while
classmate Beth Lonergan (S. Dennis,
Mass.) had a team-high 13 digs
and helped out with eight kills. Freshmen setter Rachel
Flaherty (Cold Spring,
N.Y.) handed out 29 assists in
the loss.
The Hawks hit the court, Saturday, November 8th, for the last
time this season as they will host the University of New Haven at
Stoutenburgh Gymnasium at 1 p.m.
