College women's volleyball team fell to conference foe Saint Rose
3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-13) Saturday afternoon at Stoutenburgh
Gymnasium. The loss drops the Hawks to 2-9 overall and 0-5 in
conference play, while the win makes the Golden Knights 9-5 overall
and 4-2 in NE-10 play.
For the Golden Knights, Marilyn Glamack
(Victor,
N.Y.) had a 10 kill, seven dig
performance. Theresa Staulo
(Newton,
Mass.) put up 23 assists, while
junior libero Mary German
(Canandaigua,
N.Y.) had a match-high eight digs
in the victory.
The Hawks were led by Charlotte Tencza
(Greenfield,
Mass.) who had a 10 kill, six dig
day. Freshman setter Rachel Flaherty (Cold
Spring,
N.Y.) led the team with 16
assists, and senior defensive specialist Samantha Regan
(Danville,
N.H.) had a team-high seven digs.
The Hawks return to the court tomorrow, October 5th,
as they will host Le Moyne at 11 a.m. for a conference match.
