Albany, N.Y. (October 4) -- Senior Sam
Lamptey (Worcester, Mass.) had two goals and an assist to
lead Saint Anselm to a 4-0 rout of Saint Rose on Saturday afternoon
in Northeast-10 men's soccer action.
Jeff Dell'Orfano (North Andover, Mass.) got the
Hawks on the board at the 23:47 mark on his team-best sixth goal of
the season before Lamptey added a goal just before halftime for the
2-0 lead at the break. After Lamptey scored again at 72:22,
Joshua Rocco (North Reading, Mass.) tallied
his first goal of the season in the final minutes to account for
the 4-0 final.
John Corridan (Holliston, Mass.) made five
saves for the win, while Patrik Ohlsson had three
saves in the loss.
With the win, Saint Anselm is now 4-6-1 overall and 2-3-1
in the Northeast-10, while Saint Rose is 1-9-1 overall and winless
in the league at 0-7-1.
