Anselm women's volleyball team dropped a conference match to
cross-town rival Southern New Hampshire 3-0 (26-24, 25-15, 25-14)
Wednesday night at the SNHU Fieldhouse. The loss drops the Hawks to
0-12 in conference play and 2-16 on the year.
For the Penmen, Stephanie Dluginski
(Floral Park,
N.Y.) had a match-high 14 kills.
Jamie Rood
(Southbury,
Conn.) finished with nine kills
and six digs, while Danielle Coffey
(Westboro,
Mass.) totaled seven kills and
seven blocks, including six solo blocks.
Amanda Dzioba
(Salem,
N.H.) had a team-high eight digs
while Nicky Dumond
(Tewksbury,
Mass.) handed out 19 assists.
For the Hawks, Charlotte Tencza
(Greenfield,
Mass.) had a team-high 11 kills.
Freshman setter Rachel Flaherty (Cold
Spring,
N.Y.) put up 16 assists and had
five digs. Senior defensive specialist Samantha Regan
(Danville,
N.H.) had a team-high six digs in
the loss.
The Hawks return to action Saturday, November 1st, as they will
travel to Post University to face Goldey-Beacom at 3 p.m. and Post
University at 5 p.m.
