College women's volleyball team fell to Assumption College 3-2
(25-20, 26-28, 11-25, 25-23, 15-12) on senior day at Stoutenburgh
Gymnasium.
For the Hawks, freshman outside hitter Charlotte Tencza
(Greenfield,
Mass.) had a match-high 21 kills
and a match high 17 digs to lead the Hawks. Freshman setter
Rachel Flaherty (Cold
Spring,
N.Y.) had a season and game-high
48 assists, while seniors Samantha Regan
(Danville,
N.H.) and Beth Lonergan
(S. Dennis, Mass.)
pitched in with 12 and 15 digs respectively in the loss.
For the Greyhounds, Aimee Drainville had a
team-high 13 kills, while setter Marilisa Strand
had 39 assists and 15 digs. Assumption libero Kelly
Blumenauer had a team-high 16 digs in the victory.
The Hawks return to action Wednesday, October 29th, as they will
travel to cross-town rival Southern New Hampshire for a 7 p.m.
