Albany, N.Y. (October 6) -- The Saint Anselm women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 final at No. 10 Saint Rose on Saturday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference play.

Ashley McGuire gave the Golden Knights at 1-0 lead at the 15:41 mark before adding an insurance goal early in the second period on a penalty kick. Both goals were scored on Saint Anselm goalie Jacqueline Cooney (Braintree, Mass.), who made four saves in the loss.

The Hawks are back in action on Thursday, October 11th when the team hosts Caldwell for a non-conference game beginning at 3:30 p.m. at Melucci Field.
