Melissa Jewett '15 enters her second season as an Assistant Coach for the Saint Anselm women's volleyball team in 2021.

A four-year member of the program from 2011-14, Jewett was a standout defensive option for the Hawks, departing with the fourth-best career mark in digs per set (3.56) while also ranking fifth with 1,241 career digs.

As a senior, Jewett averaged 4.78 digs per set, a mark that stands today as the third-best total in single-season history. Her 473 total digs in 2014 rank her seventh in single-season program history, helping the team to 14 victories as a senior which was the most in a season in 10 years.

Serving as an assistant coach for the Smash Volleyball Club since graduating from high school, Jewett has also assisted with several travel teams, youth programs and summer camps.

A 2015 graduate of Saint Anselm with degrees in Criminal Justice and Social Work, Jewett received a master's degree in Crime & Justice from Suffolk University.
