Lauren Brough

Lauren Brough is entering her first season as an Assistant Coach with the Saint Anselm College women’s volleyball team in 2019.

In just her first season, Brough helped the team capture its first NCAA Division II East Region Tournament win, downing New Haven in the opening round in four sets. The Hawks logged 21 victories, the team's third 20-plus win season, and recorded its first-ever home Northeast-10 Conference postseason victory at home.

Brough comes to the Hilltop from Bates College where she recently capped a successful four-year playing career with the Bobcats. Additionally, Brough has served as the Volunteer Operations Assistant with Bates volleyball.

While pursuing her degree at Bates, she was an assistant coach at Maine Juniors Volleyball Club.

On the court, Brough finished her collegiate career with 2.06 digs per set, 328 total digs, 0.67 kills per set throughout 59 matches. During her senior year, she was the recipient of the Senior Scholar Award. Brough was also inducted into the Bates Scholar-Athlete Society, an organization which honors graduating seniors who has achieved a grade point average of 3.5 who participated in a varsity sport for a minimum of three years.

In the classroom, Brough was a three-year NESCAC Fall All-Academic selection while earning a spot on the Dean’s List in early 2019. She graduated with a bachelor degree in Sociology and a minor in Business Administration.
