2025: Appeared in 11 games as a sophomore...recorded two wins, with a 5.40 earned run average in 45.0 innings, and 33 strikeouts...recorded first collegiate win in 6-5 victory vs Saint Michaels 

2024: Appeared in four games as a freshman...recorded a 16.87 earned run average in 2.2 innings, and two strikeouts...made collegiate debut in 12-6 loss vs Saint Rose (3/9). 

BEFORE SAINT ANSELM: Caden Smith is a graduate of Lowell High School in Lowell, Massachusetts, where he excelled in both baseball and basketball for the Red Raiders. He played primarily as a left-handed pitcher and hitter in baseball and earned Most Improved Player honors his senior year. 

PERSONAL: Son of Jonathan Smith and Marianne Sousa…brother to Breandan, Dylan, and Rhys Smith…majoring in Business Administration with a focus on Finance at Saint Anselm College…attracted to Saint Anselm for its baseball program, campus, and community…Honor Roll student and National Honor Society member in high school…interests include baseball, weightlifting, and video games…favorite athlete is Pedro Martinez.
