Head women's soccer coach Joel Bancroft welcomed former Saint Anselm head coach Heather Doucette back to the Hilltop in the Fall of 2023 as an assistant coach.
Doucette, who most recently led the John Stark girls soccer program for 15 years, piloted the Saint Anselm women’s soccer program from 1995-2000. She amassed 56 wins in her six seasons as head coach. She led the team to five straight Northeast 10 tournament appearances and the team’s only ECAC Championship in 1995, defeating New Hampshire College (now Southern New Hampshire University) 2-0 for the championship. For her efforts in ’95 Doucette was honored as NEWISA Coach of the Year. The Hawks two program-best 13-win seasons (1995 and 1997) also came under her guidance.
