Hannah Howard joined the Saint Anselm College women's basketball team as an assistant coach in August 2022.

She comes to the Hilltop from Wagner College, where she was an Assistant Coach for the NCAA Division I Seahawks since November 2020. With the program, Howard was responsible for positional workouts and advanced scouting while also mentoring the team's post players.

At Wagner, Howard mentored three All-Conference selections and an All-Rookie Team pick while serving as the Academic Liaison, Team Travel Coordinator, Budget Manager and was a direct liaison with the College's Campus Housing unit.

Prior to her stint as an Assistant Coach at Wagner, Howard was an Inside Sales Representative at Airborne Athletics, working closely with coaches, trainers and athletic directors across the country.

A four-year member of the women's basketball team at Gustavus Adolphus College, she was named team captain as a junior and senior, participating in the NCAA Division III National Championship. She also picked up All-Conference accolades as a senior and was named her team's Defensive Player of the Year as a first-year student-athlete.

She is the sister of Megan Howard '12, a two-time team captain for the Hawks who scored 1,333 career points in 109 games from 2008-12.

Howard, a native of St. Paul, Minn., graduated in May 2017 from Gustavus Adolphus with a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Business Management.
