Brandon Barnard joined the Saint Anselm College football program prior to the 2021-22 season. He serves as the Assistant Defensive Backs Coach for the Hawks.
He came to the Hilltop from Fitchburg State University where he was the Recruiting Coordinator and the squad's Cornerbacks Coach since May 2020. Working with the Falcons, he expanded the team's recruiting areas to 18 different states and was part of a staff that brought in over 70 new student-athletes to the program.
From May 2016 through May 2019, Barnard assisted the varsity football team at Windham High School in Windham, N.H. Working as the team's Varsity Defensive Assistant and as the freshman team's defensive coordinator, he helped the program transition to Division I and developed four First Team and Second Team All-State defensive selections in 2018.
Previous seasons at Windham saw Barnard coach several standout defensive players, including the Division II Player of the Year in 2016. The team also saw a total of 14 student-athletes selected to Division II All-Conference teams between the 2016 and 2017 campaigns.
Barnard also had a coaching stint at St. John's Prep in Danvers, Mass. for the 2019-20 season, assisting the varsity team and the secondary of the freshman football program.
A 2013 graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a degree in Sport Management and Business Studies, he received a master's degree in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University in 2018.
