Kyle Maurice ’22 enters his first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Saint Anselm College baseball program in 2023.
A two-year member of the Saint Anselm baseball team, Maurice appeared in 71 career games, batting .355 with a .701 slugging percentage and a .458 on-base percentage. Maurice collected 89 hits, 15 of which were doubles and 24 of which were home runs. Maurice was credited with 81 runs batted in while scoring 73. Maurice ranks third in program history in career home runs (24), sixth in fielding percentage (.990), and 11th in RBIs (81).
As a senior, Maurice led the Hawks with 14 home runs, aiding the team to a program record of 57 in a single season, breaking the previous record that stood since 2001. Maurice batted .396 in 42 games played, posting 63 hits and 48 RBIs. Maurice was named the Northeast-10 Conference Northeast Division Player of the Year and to the All-Conference First Team. Maurice was also named to the NCBWA All-East Region First Team, the ABCA/Rawlings All-East Region First Team, and the NEIBA Division II New England Player of the Year while earning All-America Honorable Mention honors from the NCBWA.
In a single season, Maurice ranks second in batting average (.396), second in slugging percentage (.730), second in home runs (14), third in runs scored (45), third in RBIs (48), third in total bases (116), and fouth in on-base percentage (.461).
