WINCHENDON, Mass. – The Saint Anselm College women's hockey team was handed a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Franklin Pierce University on Friday afternoon in New England Women's Hockey Alliance play at the Jason Ritchie Ice Arena.

Franklin Pierce gained a 4-0 lead in the opening 25:39 of play, which included two power play tallies. From there, Littler and Waldo scored the Hawks only goals of the contest as Saint Anselm was defeated 4-2.

The Hawks (15-17-1, 15-11-1 NEWHA) and Ravens (19-10-2, 18-7-2 NEWHA) will face off in the regular season finale on Saturday, Feb. 21 at Sullivan Arena with playoff seeding still to be determined. Puck drop is set for 1:00 p.m.
