NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Junior forward Ruby Reid of the No. 8 nationally ranked Saint Anselm College field hockey team was named the Northeast 10 Conference Player of the Week following a four-point week as the Hawks earned a pair of victories.

Reid had a productive three-game stretch for No. 8 Saint Anselm as the Hawks went 2-1 (2-0 NE10). The forward contributed directly to the Hawks' offensive success in their two wins after being held off the scoresheet in a 3-0 loss at No. 2 East Stroudsburg on Oct. 12.

Reid bounced back with a goal and an assist in Saint Anselm's 6-1 victory at Saint Michael's on Oct. 14. She then added another assist in the Hawks' 2-1 win over No. 10 Assumption on Oct. 17, finishing the week with one goal and two assists for four points. The victories over the Purple Knights and Greyhounds marked the Hawks' fourth and fifth conference wins of the season, as Saint Anselm remains the conference's only unbeaten team.

Reid and the Hawks (10-3, 5-0 NE10) return to play on Saturday, Oct. 24 for an NE10 showdown with American International College at 12 p.m. at Ronald J. Abow Field.
