FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Saint Anselm College women's ice hockey team dropped the second game of its New England Women's Hockey Alliance series to Sacred Heart University, falling by a 3-1 final on Saturday afternoon at Martire Family Arena.

How it Happened
Sacred Heart struck first at 2:07 of the first period as Grayson Limke opened the scoring for the Pioneers and gave the hosts the early lead.
In the second period, Shae Carroll extended Sacred Heart's advantage to 2-0 just 3:41 into the stanza.
The Hawks responded later in the period with a power-play goal from DeCoteau at 11:09, trimming the deficit to 2-1.
However, Sacred Heart regained a two-goal cushion in the third period when Carroll notched her second of the contest on a tally at 7:24, securing the 3-1 victory for the Pioneers.
