  • Just over a minute into the second quarter, freshman Ayla McDermod (Hanover, Mass.) became the fifth goalscorer of the afternoon for the Hawks, scoring off a Panthers turnover to make it 5-1.
  • Adelphi started to get their offense going in the second period. They scored three of the final four goals of the half courtesy of Julia Foppiano, Marielle Colalillo, and Ashley Kolomechuk.
  • Senior Jaycie Balboni (Billerica, Mass.) scored the final goal of the first half with 6:32 remaining for the Hawks, who held a 6-4 lead at halftime.

  • With 2:13 left in the third, Hill set up Christmas for her third goal as the Hawks regained the lead. However, the Panthers refused to go away as they tied it up at 9-9 just 45 seconds later on a goal by Alexandra Leggio.
