MANCHESTER, N.H. – The nationally-ranked Saint Anselm College men's lacrosse team secured a 17-6 non-conference win over Bentley University on Saturday from Grappone Stadium.
The Hawks, who are ranked No. 10 in the most recent United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) National Poll, improve to 2-0 on the young season while the Falcons, who are No. 18 in the same poll, drop to 1-1 overall.

Jack Robinson (Wilbraham, Mass.) netted a game-high three goals and eclipsed the 100-career points mark in the contest. Robinson now sits at 101 career points coming from 46 goals and 55 assists.

Jack Andrews (Cumberland, R.I.), junior
Nick Larsen (Northborough, Mass.), and freshman
Chris Claflin (Newton, Mass.) all registered two goals each while junior
Noah Larsen (Northborough, Mass.) posted a game-high four points on one goal and three assists.
Claflin got the scoring started just 47 seconds into the first quarter with his first collegiate goal.
The Hawks tacked on two more, one from
Nick Larsen and one from Andrews as Saint Anselm held a 3-0 lead with 9:55 left in the first frame. A pair of Bentley goals from
Alex Ryan and
Luke Jaber pushed the score to 3-2 through the opening 15 minutes of play.
Saint Anselm would rattle off five consecutive goals in the second quarter, giving the hosts an 8-2 lead. Senior
Will Harvey (Franklin, Mass.), Claflin, Andrews, and Robinson, twice, found the back of the cage on the scoring run for the Hawks. Jaber got the scoring back in Bentley's favor with his second of the game with 1:34 left until the half.
The Hawks defense held Bentley off the scoreboard in the third quarter and limited the Falcons to just seven shot attempts. However, the Saint Anselm offense would strike five times and lead 13-3 heading to the fourth frame.

Maverick Lyon (Albany, Ore.),
Jared Leonard (Rowley, Mass.), and
Charlie Dean (North Andover, Mass.).
Bentley netted a pair of goals late in the contest to push the score to its eventual final of 17-6.
Senior
David Olsen (Salem, N.H.) stopped 11 of 17 shots on goal in the winning effort for the Hawks. Olsen, who was making just his second career start, improved to 2-0 on the season.
Jackson Tinsley stopped 14 of 31 shots on goal for Bentley.
Saint Anselm was two-for-five on the day in extra man opportunities. The Hawks also won 16-of-26 faceoffs in the contest, led by 11 wins from senior
Craig Yannone (Lynnfield, Mass.). Yannone scooped up a team-high eight ground balls.
The Hawks will return to play on Saturday, Mar. 18 when they head to the top team in NCAA Division II, Le Moyne College, for a 1 p.m. opening faceoff from Syracuse, N.Y.
